Landry has found her feet over the past few weeks. She will grab them and rock back and forth...so, so funny! They have not found her mouth yet, but I am sure that is coming. :)

Mexico!
Well, we made it back from Landry's first trip out of the country. We spent a week in Mexico with my dad and that side of the family. It was fun! There were a total of 17 of us on the trip, and it was so much fun to get to spend time with everyone!
The only issue was, no one warned us that vacation is not quite vacation with an infant. :) Being out of the country with her was especially hard because of trying to keep her bottles and my pump supplies clean. We weren't able to use the water in the room to wash them, so we had to run bottled water through coffee makers to have warm, clean water to wash her items with. I was NOT going to take a chance on her getting sick from the water. It ended up being a good thing that I didn't because several of us got a bit of the stomach bug just by using the water to brush our teeth.
Landry did great on the vacation though. She took pretty regular naps on the beach, went to bed at her regular time, and slept well. The only time she was really bad was on the flight back from Houston to XNA. It was a late flight, and she was extremely sleepy. She screamed and bothered several of the people on the flight, but there wasn't anything we could do to calm her down. We made it back, and she slept really hard that night from all the fussing. :)
Below are a few of the pictures from our trip...

Landry in Houston after her first flight. She slept so hard!

Landry playing with Daddy on the plane...

Landry, Judd, and me hanging out with Landry's fan. The fan was a lifesaver for sure!

More eating and napping...

"What are you lookin' at?" Sweet Judd...

Ty, Gage, and Trey. Trey kept his orange soda mustache the whole week...it was cute!

Dad and Cindy...great picture!

Micah and Landry on the beach...

Landry with Uncle Tyler

Love this family picture. She was even looking at the camera!

And my favorite picture of the whole trip. Raul worked in one of the restaurant and loved Landry and her bows. He wanted his picture taken with her, but she was not very excited about it. :)
Overall, we had a fabulous trip, but we came back exhausted! We will probably not travel out of the country with Landry again for quite a while.

We are home!
We are back from Mexico, and we had a wonderful time! I will update the blog with lots of pictures later this week, but this is all for now. I will just say that we are WORN OUT...vacation with an infant just isn't what vacation used to be. :) No one warned us!
We had a ton of fun hanging out with family and spending lots of time on the beach. Can't wait for you to see all of our pictures once I have a minute to get them all uploaded.

Are we bad parents?
The other night, we put Landry in her bouncy seat while we were eating dinner. Since we were right there, we didn't buckle her in. Before we knew it, she was like this...

Then, since we didn't pick her up immediately, (I went to get the camera) she decided to just relax.

But, after a few pictures, she was looking to her daddy for help! :)

Love these moments, love this life, and I never want to forget what a sweet angel we have been blessed with!

I am going to take a break from posting for a week while we go on VACATION!!! So excited. Lots of pictures when we return!
Daddy's little buddy...
Micah was on the computer the other night, and Landry decided she wanted to join him. He was watching some video clip online, and Landry was glued to the computer screen! I love these two loving on eachother!

Look how our sweet girl is holding up her head. If she is interested in seeing something, she will make it happen! :)

A Story I Never Want to Forget...
Last week my sweet, sweet husband offered to take Landry to lunch with a former co-worker while I went to have my massage that he and Landry got me for Mother's Day. This guy had been wanting to see Landry, so it worked out perfectly. That morning, Micah picked out Landry's outfit, and he was so excited about their lunch date together. He picked out a sweet little outfit (Thanks Aunt Emily!) that Landry had not worn yet. The outfit was SKINNY jeans and a cute little top. I say SKINNY jeans because our little baby is NOT skinny. My Aunt Linda told me that it should be considered child abuse to put a chubby baby in skinny jeans. :) She looked adorable though!
Ok, so here is the good part...I got done with my massage and called Micah to get Landry from him. He was at home because Landry had a breakdown while they were out at lunch. Here is how it happened. Landry was ready for a nap when he took her. We expected that she would fall asleep in the car on the way to lunch, and she did. The nap only last 10 minutes, and then the beast was awake! According to Micah, Landry started SCREAMING so loudly that everyone in the restaurant was staring at him. He said that as she screamed louder, the room just kept getting hotter and he was dripping with sweat. :) I said, "Welcome to my life!" That sounds about like every trip I take to Wal-Mart.
That is just the beginning. After the screaming wouldn't stop, he realized that she had a blowout dirty diaper. Since there are not changing tables in most men's bathrooms, he decided to change her AT THE BOOTH. Yuck!! He got the diaper off, got her cleaned up, and then tried to put the DIRTY, skinny jeans back on her! That was a big mistake because the jeans are not the easiest to get on and off (plus, they were dirty!!), so Landry continued to scream and started to turn blue from being so upset.
In the end, Micah ended up cutting his lunch short and heading out of the restaurant with a sreaming child with no pants on.
Love, love, love this story. Micah is such a good daddy, but I don't think he was prepared for public embarassment like that. :) I could not stop laughing as he was telling me this story.
Below are some pictures of Landry from that morning in "THE outfit." I think she just gets more precious all the time!
