Sawyer Gibson!

Meet the newest member of our family, Sawyer! He is a 12 week old Lhasa Poo, and he is a total sweetheart. He was also a total impulse buy. :) We looked at Rotweilers earlier the same day, and we ended up purchasing this little fur ball that will only get to be 12 pounds. A bit of a difference, but he is precious!

He knows he is good looking too! :)

No Clothes Please...

Landry has really started fighting us when we try to get her dressed. She doesn't want a diaper, and she definitely doesn't want clothes on. The other night, she had so much fun wiggling away from us while we were trying to get her ready for bed. She is just too much fun!
Check out her chunky little rolls!

Bath Time is the Best!

Landry normally takes showers with her daddy because it is easier for us all, but the past few weeks she has been taking some baths. She loves relaxing in the water and reading her favorite bath book. :) This girl has no problem relaxing...that is for sure!
I love these sweet bath time pictures. Hope you do too!

And then, DONE taking pictures. Check out the looks I get from her! She is one sassy little girl. :)

Sweet Peas!

I decided before Landry was born that I was going to make her baby food. I LOVE to cook, so I figured that this would be just one more meal that I could prepare and feel proud of! :) It is really one of the easiest things ever, and it makes me feel good to not give her anything with preservatives in it yet.
I have been trying to feed Landry a few times a day to get her used to eating some yummy veggies. The newest thing she has tried is sweet peas, and she seems to love them! She has also had banana, avacado, butternut squash, and rice cereal. It is so fun to feed her and to watch her face when she tastes something for the first time!
Check out the sweet pictures below of our first experience with sweet peas:

Mixing up the peas in the food processor...

Yummy bright green peas in Landry's bowl...

Mommy...these are gooooood! :) See if you can find Landry's TWO new teeth on the bottom!

We sometimes get the food up her nose, but that is okay!

Mmmmm....getting full!

And, it is always fun to play with whatever is left!
I am so glad that Landry is a good eater. We haven't found anything that she doesn't like yet...probably going to be an eater like her mommy!

Catching Up...

Well, I know I have not been good at keeping up with the blog this week, but I will try to catch you up on what we have been doing.

Napping...

Playing...

Laughing...

Being super serious (and beautiful) while eating solid food. :)

and crawling all over the place...
Landry also spent 2 nights away from home with her Gigi and Papa-D so that I could volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House golf tournament. It was so much fun to be at the tournament, but not be "in charge." So fun to see everyone and see how much money was raised for an awesome cause. I did cry when we got in the car to leave Landry in Fort Smith, but by the time we were back to Fayetteville I was fine. :) I really missed her, but it was nice to get to sleep through the night!
I cannot believe that Landry will be 6 months old this week! We are having pictures done tomorrow night, so hopefully I will have some to share soon...can't wait!

Laundry Day...

Earlier this week, we had a laundry day. As you can tell from the pictures, I needed to catch up! Landry decided that she would help. She LOVED the warm clothes! So...instead of folding clothes, I just took pictures of her for awhile. I know I am like every other mother, but I just think she is the prettiest little thing. Her sweet smile just melts my heart!

Folding laundry just wore her out. :)

Pumpkin Patch!!

Landry went with her cousins to the pumpkin patch and had a fun time. We got several sweet pictures of all the kids together...except for Ty because he was still in school.

Landry with the pumpkin she picked out.

Landry with Natalie and Gage. Please notice that Landry is almost half the size of Natalie (who is 6!). Also, please notice the pumpkin on sweet Gage's head. Too cute!

Cousins! Gage, Trey, Natalie, Landry, and Judd.

Judd pulling around my wagon. What a helper! :)

We are loving this fall weather...my absolute favorite time of year!

Daddy's Girl...

Landry is such a daddy's girl, and I think it is the sweetest thing ever. She got so excited when she got to hand Micah his birthday card from her the other night. How sweet are these two?

Loves kisses from her daddy!

Sweet b-day card.

She even wrote a sweet note on the card. :)

And, we tried to trace her hand, but she was NOT going to stay still. Oh well!

I love these two SO much! Some days, I think my heart might just explode. I love hearing Micah tell Landry how pretty he thinks she is, and she will just stare back and him and smile SO big. I think she knows how much he loves her and I am sure it makes her feel like one special little baby!
