Family Pictures!

We attempted two nights in a row to get some good family pictures. The first night, we did just the kids, and then the second night the whole family. With the age of our kids, pictures with everyone looking are almost impossible...BUT I still think the pictures are cute because it really shows the stage of life we are all in right now. I am sure we will look back, laugh, and be extremely thankful that we documented our fun family vacation!

Just the kiddos...

Honestly, she loves him. :)

The whole family...

SERIOUS cheese face....enough pictures already!!

Destin...the first few days!

I am not going to comment about every picture I want to post, or I would be here all day! We are having a great time on vacation so far, and the weather has been perfect. Landry is loving chasing and trying to boss around her big cousins. :) We are here with Micah's family, so it is Gigi, Papa-D, Aunt Emily, Uncle Kyle, Jackson (4 years), Avery (3 years), Micah, Landry (17 months), Collier (6 weeks), and me. With 4 kiddos 4 and under, there is always something going on! :)
We were here in May, and Landry is night-and-day different during this trip. She is really understanding where we are and enjoying her time on the beach. She is still at a little bit of a difficult age for vacation because she is still wanting  her 2 naps a day...and she will only nap in a dark room in her pack-n-play. It has worked out perfectly this trip though because Micah's parents ended up giving us the master suite in the condo, and Landry has been sleeping in our dark closet! LOL. :) That might  sound a little mean, but she is really sleeping well!

A few cute things that have happened over the past few days...
-Landry got ahold of Aunt Emily's razor (that part wasn't funny) and got a little cut on her chin. She has now learned the word "oooowie," and she is just precious when she says it. We will point at her boo-boo and say "oooowie," and she will repeat us and pout her lip out. She is only pitiful when she know we are paying attention to her! :)
-Avery has been calling Collier "brother baby," and I love it! I think that name might stick for a while!
-Landry has learned to hug with both arms, and she has been caught numerous times on top of Collier trying to hug him with two arms while he is sleeping. She is a mess!!
-None of the kids wanted to hold Collier last night while we tried taking family pictures of just the kiddos. He took at least 3 face plants in the sand when he was pushed or kicked out of their laps. Again, he is going to have to be a tough kid!
-At the beach the other morning, Landry found two bigger boys with boogie boards that she enjoyed watching. They came up and talked to her for a second, and then turned around to go back into the water. When they left she started pointing at the water and yelling at them. Micah started cracking up because she was totally trying to boss them around in her little gibber-jabber voice. She is full of sass!

That is all I can think of for now! Hope you all are having a great week!!

We made it!

Guess what? We made it to Destin, and we are excited to be here!
We were a little worried about the long drive with the babies, but they did great! The plan was that we would stop a little over halfway for the night then drive the rest of the way in the morning, but we didn't even have to do that. We drove all 14 hours in one day (took us more like 16 with stopping to eat, potty, and re-fuel), but we finally made it in around 2 AM. We couldn't check in to our condo until 3:00 the next day, so we got a hotel for the night and then got a lot of shopping out of the way the next morning. When we finally got in the condo, we watched the Razorback game and Landry had a blast with her cousins!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the past few days...there will be many, many more to come!
Landry was SO excited to play dress-up with her cousin, Avery. I am in LOVE with her chubby thighs! :)

During our trip, Landry needed to be entertained a little bit, so we gave Curly the pig to Collier and even let him wear Landry's bow. She thought it was hilarious...poor guy probably has a lot more of this coming!

A fun weekend at Gigi's!

Micah was out of town for work this past weekend, so the kids and I packed up and went to visit my in-laws. We have been trying to find a weekend to go down, but it always seems like we have something going on when Micah is here....SO, we just went without him. We did a lot of relaxing, some shopping, and Landry got to soak up some special attention from Gigi and Papa-D. Honestly, she did not even want me to help her put on her shoes when they were was all about them! Collier on the other hand was attached to mama, so it was helpful to have the extra hands to love on big sister. :)
These pictures are totally out of order, but you will get the point!
Collier did lots of sleeping and cuddling with Mommy!

We got Landry a sassy new pair of shoes at the mall. Micah's Grandad is the "shoe expert" in the family, so we let him check out how they fit before we took the tags off. :)

Landry played with Grandmama's bears and her (always attached) baby doll.

And then she made a little room for herself on the bench with the bears. LOL...I love this picture!

We had a fabulous weekend. Micah's parents live right next door to his grandparents, so we get to see everyone when we are there. It is so special that the kids get to know, see, and be loved by so many of their grandparents and great-grandparents! What a blessing! of the best parts is that little missy gets to eat whatever she wants while she is at Gigi's house. :) She really seems to enjoy that!

Sweet sleeping babies...

One of my absolute favorite things to do is watch my sweet babies sleep. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE when they take good naps, and I am all about utilizing my time wisely. Sometimes, the wise thing to do is just to sit, stare, and soak in all the sweetness! :)

And one more precious picture of my little man. Not sleeping, but still sweet! :)
He is really getting SO big!

He has to be tough...

Poor little Collier is going to have to be tough with this sweet big sister he has. :) I love watching how interested she is in him (sometimes). When she wakes up in the morning, she has actually started asking for him and being excited when she sees him. He is so calm when she pulls on his arms/legs/fingers, pokes him in the eyes, picks his nose, and even when she "pets" him like a dog. These two are going to be quite the duo as they get bigger!
Here are some sweet pictures that we captured the other morning...
"What do you mean you want to see his face???" :)

Landry checking out his fingers, and Collier just taking it all in!
Bubby has hair...

He has eyes...

And he even has feet!

We weighed Collier yesterday, and he already weighs 11 pounds 8 ounces...that means he has gained 3 pounds in a month! I figure his sister is just training him up to be a tough football player someday. I don't think it will be long before these two are wrestling and Collier is able to hold his own with Landry!
