Happy 30th Birthday!!

Happy 30th Birthday to my wonderful husband and Landry's wonderful Daddy! We love you very much!

Little Landry Laughing...

One of my favorite things to do with Landry is have what we call a "tickle party." Micah laughs at me when I talk to Landry about having one, but look how much fun it is! Who wouldn't want to have a tickle party with this sweet thing? :)

Landry gets more and more of a personality every single day, and I love it. As of today, her first tooth is starting to cut through (we can see it!), and she crawled for the first time (just a little bit, but it counts!!). So proud of our little nugget!

Solid Foods...

We have started feeding Landry some solid foods. She has had rice cereal, avacado, and fresh banana. Some days she likes it, but some days she doesn't. Here are some funny pictures from last week where she was NOT interested in the banana we were trying to feed her. :)

Ha! I guess we will just keep trying!

Go Hogs!!

We had Dado and Nana over on Saturday to watch the Razorback game. Landry enjoyed getting dressed up and "watching" the Razorbacks win! I found a ridiculously large bow for her to wear because my dad always complains when she has one on....he thinks it is torture, but I know Landry really loves it! :)

It was a fun day, and even better that we WON! We are taking Landry to our first tailgate on Saturday, so that should be fun too! GO HOGS!

My little chef...

Landry was hanging out in the kitchen with me the other night, and she became very interested in helping cook. :)

First of all, she tried helping me pick out spices. She kept spinning the spice rack and throwing the different spices off.


A little later, she completely turned her body around to grab at the utensils behind her. She found a spoon that must have been the yummiest.




She just keeps cracking us up more and more everyday!

A great day for rain boots...

The only positive thing about rainy days are that we get to wear cute outfits! :)
Oh, and we got to go to church and start our fall Bible Study on Proverbs today. It is going to be a fabulous fall!




So sad..."What are we supposed to do on rainy days, mom?"

Back to reality...

We are home and back to reality. Looking back through pictures makes me miss the beach and beautiful weather! Instead of doing laundry and completley unpacking like I should, I am watching my dvr'd shows and looking through pictures. :) I guess I have all week to go back to "work."

Landry seemed to change so much while we were gone. She is starting to grow lots of hair (thank goodness), trying to crawl SO hard, eating avacado and rice cereal, laughing out loud like crazy, able to ALMOST put her own pacifier back in her mouth when it falls out, and was spoiled rotten (maybe a little of that before!). She was fabulous in the car on the way there and back. She barely fussed at all the entire 14 hours!

We are glad to be home, but I would go back in a heartbeat!

Destin!!

We are having a fabulous time in Destin this week (and we still have 5 nights left!) The weather is gorgeous, but the entertainment by our niece and nephew are even better! :) We are relaxing, shopping, eating, eating, and shopping a little more. Being spoiled this week, no doubt about it.

Our little jumper...

I have been meaning to buy a jumper for quite a while, but I kept forgetting to grab one. While I was at Target the other day, I saw that they finally started carrying the Jenny Jump Up (the pink one!) in the store, sooooo I got it for our sweet girl. She really likes it, and it is so nice to have her occupied in the kitchen while I cook!



At first, Landry thought it was just a yummy new toy to chew on...

Then, she started figuring out that she could move...

Then, she loved it! She bounces around and turns lots of circles.

This is absolutely one of the best purchases we have made. I think we will get lots of use out of it!

Also, we took Landry last week for her 4 month check-up. She weighs 14.12 (75th percentile) and is 24 3/4 inches long (50th percentile). The doctor said she is just perfect! :) We fed her rice cereal for the first time a few nights ago, and she LOVED it. She is definitley going to be an eater!
